Since 1983, SOMMIN is the specialist of installation and maintenance of paper mill equipment in France. Starting in 2009, the Energy sector: Hydro, nuclear and fuel power station have been developed with French large customers. From our project management process, we handle all activities mainly mechanical including our partners for specific fields of application when necessary.

Our project managers have the responsibility of projects from first offer to final acceptance certificate. They manage to involve our human and technical resources management and our field teams to achieve our commitment to customers.

We are using our bases in Normandy and Est of France.

Our site teams are health and safety assistance trained and have the required permits and authorization for: Chemicals, cranes, forklifts, work at heights, aerial bucket 3A/3B, asbestos identification …

We have all necessary tooling for all mechanical works, heavy or adjustment, from handling equipment to measurement and alignment devices. We have also a 1300 m2 maintenance workshop with a 10t crane. We are fabricating specific tooling for our projects. Our light intervention vehicles allow us a great responsiveness on a 7/7 basis.
